Story #9: Nothing Beyond Repair

Whatever else one might say for this piece, it was the beginning of my current streak of a story a day, which tomorrow will have lasted three weeks.

    Liked: You built a real feeling of anticipation, almost dread, with just wtf Jameson was up to, I couldn't wait to get to the end and find out.

    Disliked: The frisbee playing.

    Liked: the way you brought a lot of the characters' history in with the conversation over whiskey. The way you brought little bits and pieces of your own life into the story. The part where J picks the lock brought chills to my spine.

    Disliked: for some reason the last few paragraphs didn't work for me. I thought the story ended just a tad too abruptly.
  • Dear, I don't know how you are doing it. I wrote a story two days in a row and I can't bear to look at my computer right now. I'm doing my daily minimum of 500 words and then curling up in front of the TV with my remote control.
