The point, less subtly: a hell of a lot of people don’t get that when liberals are whining about educating the poor and giving health care to the unwashed masses, it’s not just about touchy-feely human decency. PEOPLE WHO ARE EDUCATED AND HEALTHY ARE THE BIGGEST RESOURCE IN ANY COUNTRY. ESPECIALLY NOW. PAYING CASH UP FRONT TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF HEALTHY EDUCATED PEOPLE IS LIKE BUYING DOLLARS FOR NICKELS.
