Jamie Grove, who writes a thoughtful and interesting blog, posted a critique of a critique he got from me (and another from Eden) as part of Brain Harvest’s Fresh Eyes critiquing service.
I’m a sucker for attention, so it’s incredibly flattering to read anything that both mentions me by name and spells that name correctly. But it’s even more flattering when somebody appreciates my literary efforts. Since I’ve been home, unemployed, and since Monica and I have been dealing with her cancer, I’ve felt at loose ends. It’s a warm glow to throw yourself into something that matters and to know that the effort is welcomed and appreciated.
And of course it’s beautiful that some people are supporting BH.
